Use your Enhanced Learning Credits to gain recognised qualifications in Project and Programme management with SPOCE
The MOD's Enhanced Learning Credits Scheme (ELC) is an initiative to promote lifelong learning amongst members of the Armed Forces.
SPOCE is registered with this scheme and can provide accredited training that works with the ELC.
To book onto a SPOCE course please contact us on +44 (0)1202 736373 to provisionally book your course date. You then have to contact your Education Staff and complete a ELC Claim Form quoting the reference number: 2745.

Can I combine more than one course
- Yes. SPOCE can combine any number of course titles. This means that you can use your full allowance to book 2 or more courses under one claim.
Are combination courses set or can I mix and match
- The courses we have shown on our literature are examples, we can combine any courses to enable you to complete the training you feel is best suited to your needs
Do courses need to run sequentially and be within a set period
- Not necessarily. However, to enable you to get the best benefit from your ELCAS allowances it is advisable to book the next available course running at a location convenient to yourself
If I book 2 courses, do I have to attend the same venue?
- No. You have a choice of any date and venue to choose from the SPOCE public schedule.
Can the accommodation costs be separated from the course costs
- Yes. We can separate any cost associated with the courses
Can food costs be separated from course and accommodations costs
- Yes. We can separate any cost associated with the courses
Can receipts for the above be billed to the candidate
- Yes. All invoices can be billed as required
Can the cost of the combination courses be expanded over a two different ELC credit periods
- Yes. Provided the first part of the combination course is taken in the first credit period and the next course is taken at the earliest convenient time then there is not a problem
What are SPOCE pass rates
Will I get penalised if I am sent on deployment at short notice and therefore need to change course dates
- No. Providing your change of circumstances can be supported by an email or letter from your Commanding Officer
Do I have to book courses through the CTP
- No. You can book directly through SPOCE.
If I don’t book courses through the CTP but use my ECL credits will I get the same price as CTP price lists
- Yes. Providing you are using your ELCAS credits then the prices of all our courses will be the same
